Great Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and passionate Spanish World Language Teacher (.2) to join its team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, proficiency-based instruction aligned with ACTFL standards, fostering students’ skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  Additionally, the candidate will have a strong commitment to cultural understanding, inclusive teaching practices, and collaborative professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Spanish language instruction using immersive, communication-based methods
• Design culturally relevant curriculum aligned with ACTFL and state standards
• Assess student progress through varied, performance-based methods
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development

Qualifications

• Valid PA teacher certification in Spanish
• Strong proficiency in Spanish (oral and written)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to utilize technology to enhance Spanish language instruction
