St. Michael’s Episcopal School seeks a qualified part-time Lower School (grades 2-5) Spanish teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a ten-month position beginning in July.

The successful candidate will have…
- excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues;
- a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching (preferably in a K-5 setting) Spanish; and
- a bachelor’s degree in education, Spanish, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred, though not required.

- native or near-native fluency in Spanish;
- extensive first-hand knowledge of, and experience in, Spanish-speaking countries or cultures;
- the ability to teach across the K-5 curriculum;

- used a variety of instructional strategies and assessment methods to meet the cognitive and affective needs of all students;

- maintained accurate and timely documentation of grades, behavior, academic concerns, and parent communication
