Ranney School seeks an Upper School Spanish Teacher for the 2025 - 2026 School Year.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Spanish, Spanish education, or a related field, and experience teaching high school. Proficiency in French and the ability to teach it is also highly desirable.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Teach five sections of Spanish, predominantly in the Upper School with the potential for a section in the Middle School.
Facilitate in the Upper School’s “Maymester” program, an experiential education program that takes place over the last two weeks of the school year.
In addition to a full-time schedule, faculty mentor students in advisory and co-curricular activities, participate in division and department meetings, and serve in various supervisory roles.
Developing strong relationships with students and colleagues is critical for one’s success at Ranney and for the school’s successful accomplishment of its mission to “know and value every child.”
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with educational attainment and years of relevant experience.
