The Department of World Languages and Literatures in Dedman College at Southern Methodist University seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track lecturer in American Sign Language beginning fall semester 2025 on a three-year renewable contract. Normal teaching load is typically twelve credit hours per semester. We seek innovative and inclusive educators, with demonstrated excellence in teaching American Sign Language at the university level, and with training in second language acquisition and pedagogy.
