St. Andrew’s Episcopal School seeks to hire an innovative, energetic, nurturing, and knowledgeable full-time Spanish teacher with job responsibilities to begin in August 2025. Preferred candidates will be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching 6th, 7th, and/or 8th graders in a vigorous learning community. Candidates are expected to have favorable attitudes or prior knowledge for project-based instruction, social emotional learning, technology integration, curriculum development, differentiation, language acquisition instruction, effective parent communication and reflective practice. 

Our program places a strong emphasis on the four essential language skills—listening, reading, writing, and speaking, with a particular focus on oral communication. This position is a key component of a meticulously designed Spanish language curriculum that spans from kindergarten through 12th grade. We are seeking a passionate, full-time faculty member who can develop and implement an engaging curriculum filled with age-appropriate, communicative tasks. The ideal candidate will inspire students to reach the highest levels of Spanish proficiency by creating meaningful, relevant learning experiences that foster genuine language mastery.
