The Montessori School of Greater Hartford is looking to hire a dedicated, passionate, full-time teacher qualified to teach both Language & Literature, as well as Spanish as a second language, to 7th-9th grade students. The teaching position, available as of August 2025, is a unique opportunity to work alongside adolescents on a farm campus in New Hartford, CT, where work on the land is integrated with academic studies. The applicant must enjoy guiding experiential learning opportunities in a small, friendly, collaborative school community and have a deep appreciation for the natural world and agriculture. An ability to engage young adolescents in a variety of activities and to enjoy working alongside them both outdoors and in the classroom is essential.
