The Department of World Languages and Literatures in Dedman College at Southern Methodist University seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track lecturer in Japanese beginning fall semester 2025 on a three-year renewable contract. Normal teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester. We seek innovative and inclusive educators with demonstrated excellence in teaching a variety of language and culture courses at the university level and training in second language acquisition and pedagogy.
