The William Penn Charter School seeks a Spanish teacher in our Middle School division for the Spring semester of 2025 (February through June) as a maternity leave replacement to teach Spanish to our 6th,7th, and 8th grade students.
Applicants must have native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Spanish as well as extensive knowledge of various Spanish-speaking cultures. The successful candidate will have classroom experience as a Spanish teacher for adolescents, demonstrate knowledge of modern language pedagogy, exhibit a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, and support the mission of the school.
A bachelor’s degree in Spanish or Education is required and a Masters degree is preferred. Experience teaching Middle School students (grades 6-8) is preferred.
