The Department of World Languages and Literatures at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure track, Lecturer II, or Teaching Assistant Professor position in American Sign Language (ASL) with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. Primary responsibilities include teaching ASL language courses as well as courses in the American Sign Language and Deaf Studies minor program. This is a non-tenure track, continuing position with opportunities for promotion. This non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of World Languages and Literatures will teach 24 credits per year, typically 12 credits in fall and spring semester.
