The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a full-time Spanish Instructor/Lecturer position for Spring 2024. Renewal of the position for academic year 2024-2025 is contingent on strong performance reviews and availability of funding. Work authorization is not available for this position. The successful candidate will teach courses at the 100- and 200-level, and other undergraduate Spanish courses based on departmental need. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Responsibilities include teaching classes, grading student assignments, developing instructional materials, and holding office hours.
