Provides leadership and coordination in the Office of World Languages. Oversees the development and implementation of the written, taught, and assessed curriculum in World Languages PreK-12. Provides vision and direction for World Language programs districtwide. Equips professional staff in the structure and quality of curriculum development and related professional development. Ensures that curriculum addresses and supports both the Office of World Languages goals as well as the system-wide goals. Ensures curriculum aligns to proficiency-based instructional practices.
