The Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese (University Park) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor position in Spanish (non-tenure track), to begin in Fall 2023. This is a limited-term appointment, for one year from the date of hire, with possibility of annual renewal.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory and intermediate language courses. Teaching load is 8 hybrid courses per year or equivalent configuration. Applicants must have native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish and have completed an MA in Spanish. Demonstrated excellence in teaching Spanish is preferred. Rank will be determined based on education and experience.
