Serves as an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate member of the division of Curriculum and Instruction leadership team. Well-versed in the integration of technology, statistics, and data analysis who understands and appreciates Pre-K-12 grade student growth. Masterful curriculum and assessment developer capable of infusing rigorous content and instruction standards into every grade. Coordinates, supervises and plans the implementation and evaluation of the countywide grades Pre-K-12 world language programs to improve teaching and learning. Aligns Academics and Strategic Initiatives to all AACPS systemic goals and collaborates with multiple curriculum offices to integrate a balanced approach to world language instruction. Performs related duties as required
Hold a professional certificate as a teacher of World Language or related field or equivalent teaching experience.
Hold or be eligible for a certificate as an administrator, as required by Maryland State Board of Education Bylaws.
Four (4) years of successful teaching experience.
Hold or eligible for a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate.
Hold or be eligible for certificate as an Administrator in accordance with MSDE.
Possess a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license and have daily access to a car.
