Lafayette College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish beginning July 1, 2019. Preference will be given to candidates whose teaching and research interests include visual and/or literary representations of Latin America. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all levels of the Spanish curriculum (3/3 teaching load). This is a full-time appointment with the possibility of renewal. Salary and benefits are very competitive.
Candidates should have native or near-native fluency in Spanish, significant teaching experience at the college level, and dedication to and enthusiasm for language instruction. Expertise in foreign language pedagogies and related technologies is especially welcome. Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD may be considered.
