Upon successfully certifying you will work for LTI as an independent contractor on an as-needed basis. The busiest periods are mid-March through early June and the month of September. In addition to being able to dedicate time to rating during these periods, we are looking for candidates who can commit to completing the process within 6 weeks, and are authorized to work in the US. The entire process typically takes about 20 hours, is offered remotely and is largely self-paced (with two or more live go-to-meetings).
The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction. ACTFL is an individual membership organization of more than 12,000 language educators and administrators from elementary through graduate education, as well as government and industry.
