All faculty have as their primary objective to create a dynamic teaching and learning environment for our students while contributing service to the college. Teaching duties may include day/evening courses as well as online/hybrid instruction. The faculty member will teach multiple levels of Italian, Spanish, and/or French. In accordance with the Faculty Association collective bargaining agreement (CBA), faculty are also expected to provide academic advisement, serve on committees, engage in professional development, design curriculum, and perform other duties as assigned.

Master's degree in Italian. PhD preferred. The faculty member will also be responsible for teaching Spanish and/or French, so evidence of training and teaching in these languages is also required.
Prior college or university teaching experience preferred, as is evidence of scholarly and/or professional activities.
Knowledge of second language acquisition theory and practice, including the use of instructional technologies. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Part of the interview will be conducted in Italian, Spanish, and/or French.
