Delbarton School seeks a full-time teacher of Spanish (two sections) and Latin (two sections) for a total of four classes starting September 2018. Candidate must be fluent in Spanish with a solid knowledge of other subject areas such as history, art, music within the target language cultures. Candidate must also have a solid background in Classics with expertise in Latin literature and Roman culture, and the language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
B.A. in Spanish or related field with university coursework in Classics (Literature/Language/Civilization) required. Graduate degree and teaching experience a plus. Candidates who have the ability to substantially contribute to the Delbarton School co-curricular program are favored.
