A member of the Ontario College of Teachers, the ideal candidate will have French teaching experience and will be teaching five sections, one section potentially in a second teachable. The successful candidate will also be engaged in the co-curricular life of the School, including service learning, coaching recreational or competitive athletics and/or working with the performing arts.
The preferred candidate will hold a degree in French and is skilled, qualified and passionate about teaching secondary school French at all levels (Grade 9 to Advanced Placement). The candidate will possess excellent skills in grammar and writing, as well as a strong grounding in French literature. The position requires energy, creativity, organizational skills, collegiality and a strong commitment to a lively community of students and educators. The candidate will be familiar with current curricular trends and integrated technology.
Trinity College School is a co-educational, independent boarding/day school located on 100 acres of rolling countryside in picturesque Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, one hour’s drive east of Toronto.
