Provide German instruction full-time to Junior High and High School students, grades 6-12.
Minimum Qualifications: Valid Michigan Secondary Teacher Certificate with a German endorsement (FB). Must meet Highly Qualified requirements as defined by the Michigan Department of Education. Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with grade level teachers and with teachers across grade levels. Willingness to learn and understand current educational strategies and curriculum. Ability to plan and implement activities for maximum effectiveness. Basic understanding and knowledge of current technology.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in secondary instruction with junior high and high school students. Teach developmentally appropriate lessons following assigned curriculum guidelines.Provide students with a safe and orderly environment for learning. Ability to incorporate technology into the classroom.
